Our classic tours will give you a chance to visit many of the historical and religious places of Armenia, get familiar with Armenian culture, enjoy the beauty of Armenian nature and the hospitality of Armenian people.

 

  • Day 1 – Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Yerevan night tour and overnight stay in Yerevan (the schedule will be changed depending on the arrival time).
  • Day 2 – Yerevan city tour - Republic Square, Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet and Cafesjian Center for the Arts, where interesting samples of modern art are presented on each of the 6 floors. Then we'll head to the "Victory" park and Matenadaran, where the extant manuscripts from both Armenia and around the world are kept. We'll finish the tour by visiting History Museum of Armenia. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
  • Day 3 – During the tour we'll visit the St. HripsimeChurch in Etchmiadzin (now Vagharshapat), then we'll visit the main and the most ancient Christian Temple of Armenia. Etchmiadzin is also the residence of the Catholicos. From here we'll head to Shirak region where we'll visit the temple of Yereruyq built during 4-5 centuries which is one of the most ancient medieval buildings in Armenia. Overnight stay in Gyumri.
  • Day 4 – The day will begin with a visit to the Marmashen Monastery Complex, after which we'll visit the medieval monastery Harichavanq. By returning to Gyumri we'll have walking tour to the sights of the city of crafts and arts. Overnight stay in Gyumri.
  • Day 5 – We'll head to Vanadzor, then to Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries which are in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From here we'll drive to Akhtala and return back to VanadzorOvernight stay in Vanadzor.
  • Day 6 – After having short stay in Dilijan we'll visit Haghartsin andGoshavanq monasteries, and head to the Lake Sevan. Overnight stay in Sevan.
  • Day 7 - We'll start our day with a visit to Sevanavanq , then we'll visit the Church Hayravanq which is unique example of the 4th century Armenian architecture. We'll end our tour in Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
  • Day 8 - Will have tour to Khor Virap where prior to the adoption of Christianity in Armenia, the Armenian Patriarch Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned. We'll continue our tour to Areni where we'll visit the Church of Holy Mother of God, then we will visit the Monastery Noravanq in the heart of magnificent red rocks. Overnight stay in Sisian.
  • Day 9 - One of the most amazing monuments of the Armenian Nature - Waterfall Shaqeis located only 3km far from the Sisian from where we'll start our tour. From here we will head to Qarahunj, which is similar to the British Stonehenge but older then it is. Next stop of this trip is the Tatev Monastery which had religious and strategic importance for Armenia during the 10-18th centuries. After exploring the monastery complex we'll return to Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
  • Day 10 - The day will begin with a visit to the first century Hellenic temple Garni, after which we will visit the Monastery Geghard. After returning to Yerevan we'll have a short rest at the hotel and head to the airport (the schedule will be changed depending on the departure time).
